Cleaning of Gold
All gold jewelry will benefit from some tender and loving care!
Chemicals in the air may slightly oxidize the gold depending on the karat grade. Please, don't let your gold jewelry come in contact with bleach when you are doing household chores because it can damage jewelry over time.
Use a chamois cloth to clean your gold jewelry. Because it is gentle, safe material for returning the luster to your jewelry.

The Ultrasonic Cleaner
This mean that a small machine will clean any piece of jewelry that can be dipped in a liquid in a matter of minutes. The Cold Water Soak
Make a solution out of 1/2 cold water and 1/2 household ammonia in a cup. Soak the pieces for 30 minutes. Lift out gently clean with an toothbrush. Swish in the solution once more and let the jewelry drain on paper.
Detergent Bath
Use a mild liquid detergent found on your home (dishwashing soap,etc.) then prepare a small bowl of warm suds. Brush the pieces with an toothbrush while they are in the bath. Then transfer them to a wire tea strainer and rinse under warm running water. Pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
The Quick-Dip Method
Buy a liquid jewelry cleaners found in many stores. Cleaning instructions vary depending on the kit, so read the label carefully and follow its instructions.
Tarnish Removing
Tarnish can be removed with a jewelry cleaner or with soap and water with a few drops of ammonia. Brush the cleaning solution into the gold with a small toothbrush. After you have finished cleaning rinse the gold with warm water and allow it to dry.
